Test drove one of these today. Will I still be allowed on here if I buy one?

Spot on Dan! :) To be precise an E-class coupe. Now bought. Will put up a pic when I collect it... about a fortnight or so.

Spec: E350CDI Sport Coupe in Diamond Silver (very pale blue). 62-plate. 2300 miles. Dealer is previous owner. 265bhp/620Nm torque - at the moment

Kitted with: COMAND, Parktronic, Tracker, Tiptronic, Electric front seats, full leather, AMG Sport Suspension, AMG alloys, AMG body kit, reversing camera, DAB radio, Lane assist, Driver assist (yawn ! )

Am I gonna mod it? I'm told the engine is very easily remappable to 750Nm torque: do you think I could resist the temptation? :D

Still waiting for DVLA to sort out the transfer of my personal plate so haven't bee able to pick up the car yet. Anyway, in the meantime, here are some pcis from the dealer. I'm not sure they capture the colour 100% - it's a very subtle hint of blue in silver.

Not a big fan of the hips on this car, they just look like an after thought.

The car looks better in the metal. The hips don't really stick out as much as the photos suggest!:D. Makes the sides look a bit less bland than an E92, perhaps. Supposed to be reminiscent of the Mercedes of the 1950s and early 60s.

I'll feel I'm driving a modern day E30 M3 (which had somewhat similar hips). Except it should be a lot quicker, especially once I get the torque boosted to 750Nm. I'm told by the tuner that these things can smoke an E92 M3, in fact. I look forward to testing that claim. Lol!
