Hi Dave,

I was told that a callback had been completed for you, If this was not the case then I apologise and would you still be needing it now?

any one care to comment ?

Saw this on another forum...

"Without Prejudice

It has been evident that certain insurance brokers have been asking for your username on a club forum to obtain you a % discount on your annual premium.

The reasoning behind it is that it's meant to demonstrate that as a 'club member' you are going to be more careful etc.

It's a lie.

The reasoning behind it is because plain & simple - they're going to monitor your posts both past, present & future. And use this information against you.

We've caught one firm from doing this, and have banned them (and subsequent registrations) and censored their companies name.

This is from what is claimed to be a 'performance' specialist.

So bear in mind that should you have a policy with them, and "someone" posts somethingnunder your username - they may cancel your insurance, which will then have knock on effects to obtaining insurance for ANYTHING in the future.

My advice - stay well away from people who need your username to verify information. I don't believe that a 10% discount is truly available - and certainly is not worth the risk of having a policy cancelled over. "

The company in question is Greenlight (owned by Highway Motor Insurance who also own Adrian Flux)

A word of warning to you all

Hiya,

I can confirm that Highway Insurance does not own Adrian Flux Insurance or Bikesure.

Thanks

i used these jokers when i had my subaru fully comp yadda yadda, had a crash said i wanted to take my car to a well know subaru dealership for repair they said fine but we cant give you ur courtesy car unless it goes to our garage, ok i said take it to yours as i need a car to get to work,,,
they take my car and then tell me they dont have any cars available carrys on this way for the next three weeks untill finaly i get a call saying there writing my car off and now im not eligible for the courtesey car any more.....
the car had a cracked wheel bent suspension and needed new bits associated they decided this would cost more than 6 grand....

Muppets

i took their money and didnt buy back the car but i wish i had as the dealership came through on a quote for me afterwards saying all in it would cost £1200 everything including the replacement wheel Vat the whole shebang.....
To hear what kos said wouldnt surprise me in the least they have to reclaim these stupid payouts somewere....
